Accidental Happiness - The Privilege Floor by BOREI ANGKOR
I am very delighted to read that you and your husband enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for being the wonderful residents at our establishment. Will pass on your special thank-you to Jacky and Prang who helped to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one. From the moment that Alex excitedly met us at the airport and introduced us to Mr Chamrong, our personal driver for our stay, we asked ourselves, What is the catch? We arrived on an early morning flight and without asking, they allowed us to check in early without charge and gave us a complimentary breakfast.
They then offered Mr Chamrong to take us to the lake to view the floating villages. What's the catch we thought? But there wasn't one.
We were provided one of the recently restored boats to ourselves which meant a very private tour and Mr Chamrong also ended up being a pretty good tour guide as well with excellent English. Complimentary cocktails that evening and recommendations for dinner and of course the door to door service of Mr Chamrong meant we had an amazing night. Driven by Mr C, he was there every step of the way providing us with chilled water and face clothes after every temple visit. Every single person who works at the PF is genuinely happy, smiling and interested in your well being.
The facilities are excellent - the decor is an understated elegant style that was very homely. The room was huge and very comfortable and the complimentary mini bar was a treat. We are particularly critical of poor service and with this being part of our honeymoon and having just spent a few nights at the Mandarin Oriental in KL we could have been easily disappointed but instead, this was simply a welcome bonus and step up on genuine quality service compared with the Mandarin.
This rates as the best hotel experience I have ever had!
When setbacks and tough choices are turning points.
The service is first class and the staff amazing. The inclusions that come as a part of the package make the stay exceptional. I cannot say enough about this hotel. My family and I stayed here in December and we were totally spoilt and waited upon by the most friendly and heart warming staff that is typical of the Cambodian people. They went out of their way to help book restaurants for my family of six as well as organised a wonderful guide, Pok Heny, who gave us three wonderful and very informative day tours of the temples and surrounding countryside.
The cleanliness of the rooms was imprecible and with the free drycleaning we didn't have to worry about washing clothes for the remainder of our holiday. Alex the hotel manager met us at the airport with Chang our driver and transferred us back to the airport when we left. My teenage sons especially loved playing pool against the staff members who were very happy to play even after their work shifts had finished.
We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Siem Reap. It is close to the city centre, the markets, the temples Chang the driver is always available to take you anywhere you want to go and with the most beautiful staff it can't be faulted. We will be back.
My boyfriend and I had a truly amazing stay at the Privilege floor. The service was out of this world! In particular Alex and Jacky - they both made our stay brilliant and memorable. Their attention to detail was spot on, we really felt like we were getting extra special treatment, everyone was always friendly, polite, and professional. They were on hand to help us wth any queries we had, they planned the perfect itinery for us for our 3 day stay, our driver Nourn was excellect, he had good local knowledge and was available as soon as we requested to be picked up or driven anywhere.
The complemetary cocktail hour in the early evening was a bonus! I would reccomend that no one should stay anywhere else in Siem Reap other that the Privilege floor! We would deffinately love to return! We reached Siem Reap on an early morning flight coming from India. We landed at 9am, and were greeted by Alex and our driver, Mr. Kea who were incredible throughout the entire visit.
As the check in typically starts at noon, Alex organized some breakfast for us, after which he reserved our complimentary spa and massage. When we entered our room The Sunset Suite there was a complimentary bottle of champagne for all of us. The room was spacious and clean.
All of the staff, Alex, Sean, Jacky, Bumna, Anna at the front desk and Chenda, Domra, Say, Sokdem at the 4th floor lounge always greeted us by our names and were available whenever required! They organized our personal car and our temple tour at Angkor Wat at 5am. Our driver Mr. Kea knew exactly where to take us and was always on time with cold towels and cold bottles of water in the car. It was an incredible lunch with traditional Khmer food, and lovely service by Chenda who accompanied us.
The next day, we had our in-room dining meal at the hotel. The staff as usual welcomed us with open arms, and cooked us some fabulous Fish Amok and Beef Loc Lac even though it was not part of the menu. They were always aware and looking out for my mother, who was mainly vegetarian, and organized special meals for her wherever we went.
We left early in the morning, prepared for a am flight. Alex and Say were awake, and had made small breakfast boxes for us to take to the airport. Alex also accompanied us all the way until we checked in. Overall, it was a phenomenal stay at the Privilege Floor. Having traveled a lot, I have never experienced such amazing hospitality. It made our visit to Siem Reap unforgettable.

There was no way for him to see the SUV flying towards them with its lights off, ignoring the red light that ushered it to stop, even as his green light told him to go. For Becky waking up only brings horror, first the sight of that SUV careening at them, and then some hours later the bright lights of a hospital room alerting her that something has gone terribly wrong. With her parents by her side, the rest of the world comes crashing down at the news that Brian didn't survive.
They were each only weeks away from starting soccer careers at their dream schools, while trying to navigate the difficulties of long distance relationships. Now the only thing she wants is to run away as fast as possible, unaware of all that Brian left unsaid that night in the truck. Beaten down over and over again as she attempts to heal the heart broken on that dark night when two young people felt they could take on the world as long as they had each other by their side.
Becky now has the ultimate questions to answer.
